The highway lines cut across my sight in a flow of red tail lights
Cherry sunset obscured in smoke reflects me in the night
The condensation on the windshield fades into the dream
An open book that closes as another breaks its seam

A signature reminder on the paintings in the hall
The silent temple radiates the cold winter calm
A bright idea to call my own the devil wants it all
